I got this to use as a desk mat and so far it has been great. Keeps my keyboard from sliding around. Its thick and well made. The only thing worth noting is that the edges curl up slightly from how it was packaged, im sure it could easily be flattened by just laying it upside down or leaving it under something heavy for a few days
